The biriyani is made in the Ambur style using seeraga sambha rice, which is a short grain variety, and is lightly spiced. The chicken was cooked perfectly and had delicious flavors. The biriyani also came with onion raita and a side of brinjal, which paired well with the rice. The portion size was just right for one person and the packaging was excellent. Ambur star biriyani is one of the best biryani in tamil nadu. The taste was like yummy some years back but nowadays a huge lag in the taste. The brinjal gravy taste also went down nowadays. The management needs to revisit the masala and the taste.the rates are bit high and quantity is also moderate. Overall rating :above average
