Tried the penne pasta with osso buco wh... read more Had a casual work lunch for two here today based on a recommendation. Not easy to find due to poor signage. Modest menu. Tried the penne pasta with osso buco which was something different and tasted ok. Average value at $17. Cappuccino good. Service adequate. Lacked atmosphere for a lunch place. Would be better for breakfast?

Went for lunch, With coffee to drink I had the pumpkin gnocci while my companion had the special pear and rocket salad and we shared a bowl of fries. No complaints, the food and service were good and the fries excellent. Bendigo is blessed to have so many great cafes and this is one, I will have to try it out at breakfast next time. I for one have no complaints about eggs!
