The service was great. Matthew was our server and he was so awesome! We were there for happy hour and enjoyed the fried pickles, beer battered bacon, chicken tacos, fish tacos and mac and cheese. The beer battered bacon was to die for. A must try! Thisplace shines at a time when everywhere else has been struggling.
This place never fails to impress. Their food is top notch, the staff are always super friendly and it is very laid back! Usually no wait and they have an amazing selection of taps and cocktails! If you are looking for a good vegan and gluten freeplace they have a HUGE selection. I would recommend this place any day of the week if you are looking for good old comfort pubfood.
Lunch was dope! Or you could say, on point! The customizable Vegan menu is awesome. I got the Vegan The Best Ever Non Beef Burger which was pretty good but a bit of a mop job and needed multiple napkins, but the showstopper was the Baby Mixed GreenSalad as Wrap with Vegan Chicken, holy smoke this was super tasty! Extremely flavorsome, fresh and vibrant tasting. Both arrivedpresented well and an extremely presentable portion. Staff are super friendly, very kind, approachable and tentative in a greatcomfortable atmosphere to chow down. I'd give the burger a strong 3, the Salad in a Wrap a solid 5, so I'm leaving a confident4. That's a wrap (pun intended)... Support local businesses!
The Point Pub offers a large, separate vegan menu, including tacos, burgers and wraps. I had the vegan Mac Daddy, a concoction made with a burger, onions, BBQ sauce and vegan mac and cheese. The fries choices including sweet potato fries,which I really enjoyed. Generous portions, lots of variety, but what impressed me was that the food was “ clean”, ie definitely made separately, quite a feat for a pub- grill type place.
Nothing special but a nice place to go with non-vegan family and get a drink. They have a whole vegan section of the menu which was really nice and the staff was accommodating
