The Meat Locker - Bend

We visited this meat market shortly after its relocation. The butcher cut us a 2.5-inch ribeye steak without us having to pre-order, which was very convenient. However, convenience aside, the steak was truly exceptional. It was well-marbled and incredibly tender, with hardly any waste. We are very impressed with the quality and variety of meats available here. The hot dogs are, without a doubt, the best we've ever tasted. Don't overlook this hidden gem of a meat store!

I live in Idaho but frequently travel to Brookings, often stopping in Bend for Costco and Jimmy John's. I usually take a break halfway through the trip, but now I'll be adding the Meat Lock to my list of stops. I can’t believe I almost missed out on the best beef jerky I’ve ever had! Be sure to try the habanero jerky—it has the perfect flavor with just the right amount of spice without being overwhelming. The Rindsirky is clean, with no bits of gristle or silver skin. It’s like a treasure hunt for beef! You definitely won’t regret stopping by.

I've been here since they opened up and brought many others. Big man and woman owner who are honest and exhibit a great product. Casey ensures the variety of favors over all meats. If you see one when your favorite taste you better get it as it sells quickly.

Very nice and helpful employee and the Elk sticks are amazing. Trying the Ribeye steak tonight. The store is small but very clean! Will definitely be going back!
