During dinner, a couple of guys came up to our table and sta... read more After being loyal customers at this lodge for over 20 years, we recently had a terrible experience. During dinner, a couple of guys came up to our table and started swearing at us for no reason, even with a four year old with us. We asked them to leave, but they stayed and kept causing trouble. When we complained to the manager, we visually saw the manager reseat them and then were told by the manager later that they “reseated themselves” at the other end of the restaurant. The manager also stated that these guys were golf members held to a different standard. Seriously? Does this mean because I own an home and am a golf member that I can come in and use vulgar language randomly at other people in the restaurant and simply just be moved? Apparently, this isn 't the first time it 's happened. Why is this okay?The manager tried to pass the blame, saying it 's up to the golf side management. That 's just not true. We 're regulars here, spending well over a grand each time we visit with our family, and we deserve better. Will be waiting for upper management to contact us.May 26th 8pm

I... read more I gave this place a five-star rating because I enjoyed their drinks, food, service and ambience. Remember that this restaurant belongs to the Sunriver Resort. It is practically in the middle of nowhere, unless you count a handful of all American restaurants / bars in the nearby village or if you are ready to drive to Bend for more options. During our visits this year we had their fish and chips (must try) and the Lodge Burger. If you like beer battered fish, you must try. The dough was always boiled for perfection, the dough was crispy/crispy on the outside and the interior was completely boiled (there was no wet dough). The ratio of fish and dough was also perfect. There were many fish. When ordering the burger I added bacon and a fried egg. I liked the burger so much because I could taste the charred meat. Last but not least, the cocktails were also delicious and strong. Don't forget to order Desserts. I liked her crème brûlée. We were lucky to have the same waitress for our dinner visits. I think her name is Ann. She was very sweet and attentive. The service we received from other employees was also decent. No complaints. The prices were decent for a resort restaurant.

Everyone raved over the braised beef and I enjoyed the Mac n cheese w pulled pork. As an aside, Elk and deer may greet you in the parking lot and let you get to about ten feet. The atmosphere is excellent. The menu selection is smaller than a restaurant. The one thing that stood out to those that had one was the drink titled, something PUNCH. That seemed to pack its namesake making those that had it, pretty happy. Food: 5

Highly Recommend!. Husband had the flat iron steak with a Cab wine--perfect! He is still talking about that meal two days later. I had the owl burger with a Sinister beer--loved every bite! Son had the Reuben sandwich with a Sinister beer--he inhaled the whole thing. We will definitely be returning for more great food, awesome drinks, gorgeous view, and perfect ambiance.

Shared a meat and cheese plate with the wife, quality was good, nothing I would throw down my hat for, but tasty and as expected. The desert is where our experience shines, we had the S'more and it was incredible. Over all a fine establishment, a few things I could nit pick about, but nothing worth mentioning here, overall a solid 4 star experience.
