These sandwiches are so balanced... Not too saucy, not overwhelmed with too much bread, and not too meaty. I’ve been craving a cheesesteak since I moved to the Bend area five months ago. The cheesesteak I had today was decent—not the best, but certainly not the worst. The steak had good flavor, and the provolone cheese was melted perfectly on a nicely textured roll. Overall, it was just average. Okay so I'm leaving five stars because I love this place. Especially the pastrami sando but I have to vent. The steak sandwich is trash.... There is no world in which putting lettuce tomoto and mayo is okay on a steak sando. I will say no more!
I lived in bend for 14 years and had never eaten a sandwich from there. Just ate there for the first time and had a cheesesteak sandwich. It was delicious! Wasn’t the low quality subway style sandwich I was expecting. I’ll be a lunch regular there from now on. Quick and affordable.
