"Brussels sprouts can be truly tasty. I highly recommend pairing them with fried tofu on the side."
The ramen is quite tasty, but you'll need to make a few adjustments to make it vegan-friendly. Opt for the vegetarian miso broth and substitute tofu for the pork, and skip the egg. This update was made on July 2, 2023, based on my earlier review.
I tried to order the garlic miso ramen with vegetable broth, no egg, and a tofu substitution, but I was told that the noodles contained egg. The staff suggested the tofu curry as an alternative, which was decent, although the curry itself could have used more flavor. On the bright side, the fried tofu was outstanding. The service was excellent, as the staff checked with the kitchen to meet my vegan request. The Brussels sprout appetizer was vegan and absolutely delightful.
Chomp Chomp boasts an impressive whiskey selection, outstanding ramen, and several vegan dishes. The tofu in the ramen had an amazing texture, the flavors were exceptional, and the bartenders provided wonderful company!
Really enjoyed our dinner. We wanted to try dishes Unique to the restaurant since we eat Japanese all the time and have been bored for so long. Had to try their chomp fuu hiroshima fuu and was glad I did. The favorite of the night was the appetizer ofchomp house cheese dip which I wish I could get the recipe to and make at home it was so good that I would actually make cheesedip at home for friends and family if I could impress them with this. My partner was a fan of the almighty gyudon. The cocktailmenu at the restaurant was different than the one online so I can?t post which we had but they were delicious. Staff was ultrafriendly. It was the end of the night and the restaurant wasn?t full so it was loud inside so they were happy to let us eatoutside even though they were starting to break down the patio area on the sidewalk.
