**Aloha Café: A Taste of Hawaii in Oregon** Aloha Café offers an inviting glimpse into Hawaiian cuisine, though recent operational challenges have left some patrons disappointed. While friendly service, such as complimentary treats and attentive staff, garners praise, inconsistencies in food availability have triggered frustration. However, loyal diners celebrate the restaurant's delicious offerings, particularly the kalua pork and robust combo platters. Despite its current limited hours, many remain hopeful for improvements and express gratitude for the café's resilient spirit during challenging times. Aloha Café appears committed to enhancing the dining experience and continues to be a beloved staple for Hawaiian flavors in Bend.
First time ordering from Aloha Cafe, I ordered the kalua pork, lava chicken, pineapple slaw and the macaroni. Everything was delicious! I mean really good! I will absolutely be eating here again in the future. There is not a dining room, it’s only for pickup which I didn’t know.. but the food was fantastic.
The food here is consistently delicious, and my kids enjoy it as well. It's one of the few remaining spots in town where a family of four can enjoy a meal for about $40 (in 2024). If you're on the east side, you should definitely give it a try.
This place is GREAT! Been going here for years. The prices are still super and same for the portion size. Best Hawaiian food in town and probably then some! Super friendly staff and a homey feeling. Please if you love Hawaiian food, EAT HERE!
I was very disappointed with my experience. The restaurant was closed because they had received a large order that took all of their food. I found this quite disappointing! The manager, Lee, mentioned that he welcomes large orders that can shut down the restaurant. Wow! I won’t be returning.
I'm so sad we didn't try this place sooner! Absolutely the best ribs and slaw we have had in Oregon. Recommend getting the combo platter, my husband and I couldn't even finish it so it's amazing value for money. Justine was absolutely lovely and we cannot wait to come back again!
