Good quality food with sufficient quantity.Even the taste is satisfying !
First of all, my first 7 choices of meals, and 3 choices of drinks were unavailable. And well, I thought the last time I had been here was my bad luck for a no show of cocktails. They had no cocktails this time too, a plethora of dishes were cancelled off their menu, multiple more items that they had didn't exist in their kitchen. Variations of fish were unavailable, Oh my.Anyhow, kept all of my needs aside, I placed an order for Vindaloo to which the server said, we have a variant of vindaloo and not vindaloo, but it tastes the same.Pork Vindaloo:Boiled pieces of Pork in a red coloured gravy. Some flavour of tamarind, vinegar and spice mix. But no taste, and just runny gravy which was more like the rasam of the South Indian kind. Mind you, Rasam is brilliant, though runny, it has flavor, aroma and delicious. Not worth the ₹160 tag.Fish (Mackerel) Thali was served with a small portion of rice, not enough for one person, a big bowl of ginger garlic paste and chili paste with few chunks of coconut, which couldn't be ground well. They also served the fish head in this. Ouch! The dollop of mix veggies was nice, but I don't know if it was to be had plain or with air, because this thali didn't have any Indian bread or an extra portion of rice. For ₹200 it was not worth a thing. The Beef Xacuti was decent, but was void of a good quantity of beef. And the portion size for ₹160 was more like ₹50 worth.Chicken Hakka Noodles was fresh, but overcooked, with few strands of the noodles burnt at the edges. Again for ₹160, I'm unsure what the rates have been aligned too, but this was the only thing that was reasonably priced for the quantity. If you see the image of the table, you'll see all gravies looking the same. Well, we got served just that. So, save your money eat salami and bread if needed.
Spicy prawns followed by tika masala, butter roti and jeera rice. ....heaven...must try new restaurant near the holy trinity church. Well worth a visi
