Absolute gem of a find. Pictures don't do it justice, lovely setting with fresh basil growing in the garden It appears that a lot of the produce is home grown. Well seasoned food, excellent value for money. A really enjoyable meal. Easy to find gluten free options (grilled meats and a lovely selection of fish) We over ordered, around 27 euro a head including alcohol, for what we got it was extremely reasonable and well priced. Epically retro sound track highlight for me was Rupert Holmes' Pina colada song, and and possibly the cleanest bathrooms I've ever been in, in Spain. Sweet mini complimentary mangums with the bill. Thrilled to have found this place. Would definitely be back. Menus in French, English and Spanish with pretty accurate English translations. A lovely bar and restaurant. Vegetarian options: Could get by as a veggie or vegan. Probably not enough to say there's a decent sized veggie menu though. Kid-friendliness: Outdoor dining area perfect for kids and some little pet birds in a cage that they loved looking at Parking: On street parking Wheelchair accessibility: Flat entrance to tables with no steps. Disabled toilet available Dietary restrictions: Enough options to cover gluten and dairy free diets

Fabulous, excellent food and exquisite treatment. A quiet place to enjoy delicious delicious food.
A secret garden restaurant just off the Cantarranas Road in Benalup Casas Viejas) This is a family run restaurant and is adjacent to their home . The menu uses many vegetables, salads and herbs that are grown by the owner. The restaurant's proximity to the countryside , the forest and the sea mean that all the dishes that we chose wild boar , fried choco, cerdo and chicken skewer) were both local and fresh. The lady in the kitchen is a fine judge with seasonings. Her husband , the waiter, is chatty friendly and helpful .The menus are in Spanish, English and French. Thankfully, the restaurant is close by , so I do hope that we can become regulars.
