Dreadful place. Rude and ignorant staff. Great location beachfront at Santa Ana , Benalmadena. Location is as good as it gets ! Not enough staff and those they have are rude and objectionable ! The chef is also behind bar and shouts alot !!! This place was never this bad historically ???? Then I found out why ? Mama Gina left some time ago the tragas beer sign out front gave the game away then a waiter in a tragas polo shirt it is Tragas 2 ?!!!!! the cheap and not so cheerful tapas bar next door. This place is about as Italian as Syria and just as friendly ! One to avoid unless u just looking for a drink in the sun but I would not want them to have my money its your money you have a choice where u spend it !!!

Low attention from the staff that was more interested in bringing in new customers than taking care of the guests they had. After waiting a long time I had to find salt and pepper on my own. Ok pizza, otherwise food is not that tasty. Dry fish, British style vegetables. Decent pricing.

Cannot judge the food because we were rudely asked to leave by the chef. My family of 12 where looking for something different so we decided Italian. We went to the restaurant at 9.20pm and when asking for a table for 12 the chef shouted I am not cooking for 12 . Never have I experienced such rudeness in a restaurant.

We have eaten people on the bridge of the constitution in this restaurant of the many on the promenade, and we have been delighted with attention and food. We have first booked a table, specifying the food we wanted and if it was possible that they would serve us as soon as we sat down, and it has been. As soon as we arrived we have served the vegetarian paella we had asked for, and some specimens, directly, without having to wait, and by the sea, luxury. And they've also put a bucket of water on our dog. so totally recommended, more than the other restaurants in the area that are so full, and the attention is not so good, and they do not let reserve.

Decided on Italian that night, and menu looked OK, so we sat down. It wasn't that busy, but took ages for the waiter to even acknowledge us, once he did we got some drinks and ordered food. Kids just got pizza and chips and all was good with there's. I ordered fillet steak and my wife ordered a chicken dish. When they came all that was on my plate was steak and chips, I thought I might have had a bit salad or veg (for 20e) so I asked if it came with anything, I was told, quite abruptly that I only asked for chips, so I asked for some veg, and simply tipped the veg onto my plate! My wife's chicken wasn't good so I sent it back and they knocked it off the bill after some persuading. The guy cooking on the bbq was smoking and flicking his tab ends into the coals! So when the bill came it was a lot more than I thought, I contested it and tried to work out how it was so much, I offered them a little less, as the service had been rubbish, and we'd been getting filthy looks off the chef for returning my wife's meal! I was then told if I didn't pay they'd call the police, there was 3 staff at my table, and they were really rude about me paying every last euro of my 80euro bill, my kids were starting to get upset, so I reluctantly settled the bill.
