Coming down the hill from Ronda, wife at her wits end, doesn 't like mountain drives! Needed a place to have a calming wine or five. Found La Parada on the last roundabout before hitting the coastal hiway. A small Tapas bar with a nautical theme and an old seadog in the bar. A Captain from way back when. Coming down the hill from Ronda, wife at her wits end, doesn 't like mountain drives! Needed a place to have a calming wine or five. Found La Parada on the last roundabout before hitting the coastal hiway. A small Tapas bar with a nautical theme and an old seadog in the bar. A Captain from way back when. Ordered Gambas, sausage, egg and patatas. The Gambas have to be some of the best we tasted and the Chorizo was fine too. A great atmosphere obviously a place normally only frequented by locals. Lots of interesting photos and memorabilia in the bar. What started as a quick pitstop turned into a lovely memory.
