Tara Bemidji Thai Food And Craft Beer

I visited this restaurant for the first time during my lunch break, hoping to enjoy a relaxing meal. Unfortunately, our order got lost in the shuffle, and we ended up waiting 30 minutes for our food. However, the restaurant's atmosphere was so captivating that we were entertained while we waited. When our food finally arrived, the chef personally brought us a complimentary authentic cake to make up for the inconvenience, which was a lovely gesture. The food we ordered was fantastic! The staff was hardworking and very accommodating. I would definitely return. If you're looking for a great Thai restaurant, Tara is the place to go!

Wow! I had the shrimp pad Thai along with a side of fried rice, and it was absolutely amazing. It was hot and spicy, just the way I like it, and the craft beer on tap was a great addition. The service was excellent too. Thanks for a wonderful laid-back experience! If it stays this good, I can't wait to see how it is in the future.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The service was outstanding—every staff member was friendly and welcoming. They offer a nice selection of vegetarian options, including some good vegan choices. I ordered the Pad See Ew and it did not disappoint. While I typically choose the veggie option, I decided to try the mock chicken this time, and it turned out quite well! The meal was a great value for the price, and everything was delicious. Enjoying steaming hot noodles on a chilly winter night, along with a variety of excellent local craft beers, made for a perfect evening. I would definitely come back!

I am out of ca and find good ethnic food in rural mn is difficult. we tried tara when we moved to bemidji and had low expectations due to the other Thai food we tried in rural areas. to my pleasant surprise, eating is tasteful, well seasoned, and a great difference than other Thai restaurants I tried. it is not as spicy as I want, but they have chili flakes and sriracha for people like me, who want to add more spicy. there is a good variety and I am not embarrassed to invite my CA friends to eat there. we enjoy tara and eat there several times in the month. I needed the access to good food, so this was a nice change.

Wow! Excellent food and service. Many craft beers on tap. We had gotten the drunken noodles, volcano chicken, and pork fried rice. All were great with tons of flavor. Definitely recommend the drunken noodles, I wish we would’ve doubled up on them they’re that good! Not a single complaint with our visit
