We had a confirmation from the open table of our booking at Hanging Gate. In the pub they denied that they receive it and blame Open Table as an unreliable website. We were accommodated, party of 7. Food was moderate, broccoli almost raw, Dessert was variable. We're not gonna eat here again. View all feedback.
My husband, sister-in-law, and I had a fantastic lunch at Suspension Gate. The staff was very friendly and courteous, and the food was served on hot plates. Although we didn't find the menu to be very appealing, we will definitely be returning to Suspension Gate in the future.
The food at this restaurant is excellent and the service is outstanding. The weekend offer of 2 courses and drinks for £22 per person is great value. I had a very enjoyable experience and will definitely be returning.

After reserving a table and receiving confirmation through OpenTable, the Hanging Gate later called to inform us that they did not have availability for the time slot we had a confirmed reservation for.
Good variety menu at a reasonable price in a nice setting.
