The portions we received were both flavorful and satisfying. The staff greeted us warmly and were attentive to all our needs. I ordered the chicken fried steak with fries and a house salad, while my teammate opted for a medium rare steak, shrimp, a baked potato, and a house salad. I requested onions for my salad, and they were happy to accommodate. However, it took a while for our waitress to attend to us, and over an hour passed before our food arrived. The restaurant is quite spacious, filled with tables and booths. We noticed that takeout orders seemed to be in high demand, with at least 25 boxes being picked up during our visit, and a continuous line of customers waiting for them. I suspect that this might cause delays for those dining in the restaurant. Condiments like salt, pepper, ketchup, and mustard come in packets. I was torn between giving a 3 or 4-star rating. The decor in the restaurant is minimal, and I think if they expect customers to wait so long for their food, they should consider adding some decorations or TVs. After such a long day, I found myself feeling sleepy as I waited for my meal.

My only complaint was the grilled vegetable side; although nicely seasoned, the mixed veggies were quite mushy. I wish the menu had been clearer about this so I could have chosen a different side. Still, the steak was so satisfying that the vegetables didn’t detract from the overall experience.
