I recently dined at a cozy waterfront restaurant with a limited but carefully curated menu. The special of the day was Icelandic cod, expertly prepared just like I remembered from my time in Iceland. The accompanying bed of vegetables and puree were both delectable. The only disappointment was the buffalo mozzarella salad, which had a sparse amount of tomatoes and cheese, making it more of a side dish than an appetiz... View all feedback.
What Scottie Barton doesn't like about Restaurant bleu moutarde:
Le repas était bon et le service aussi Le repas principal sans entrée ni café inclus et dans certain cas ni légume est beaucoup trop cher et les portions son tout juste suffisante. Le vin lui aussi est plus que le double que la SAQ. View all feedback.
My wife and I went to this restaurant to celebrate her birthday. We started with some appetizers. The Remoulade was fantastic and the oyster was excellent. For our main course, we ordered blood pudding and mussels with blue cheese and cognac. Both dishes were a pleasant surprise. The wine selection was impressive. We had a wonderful time sitting by the river and enjoying our meal. We will definitely be returning!
We went to this restaurant for my wife's birthday, which was our third visit. The outdoor terrace overlooking the river was beautiful. Our waitress was friendly. There were four of us in our party, including my son and his wife. We ordered drinks and appetizers. I had the "Shrimp Risotto," my son had the "Beef Tartare," and the women each had the "Steak." I was disappointed that the menu mentioned "shrimp" with an "s" at the end, as there was only one shrimp on my plate for $32. The meals were good and the Cahors wine we had for $45 was excellent. I had mentioned to the waitress that it was my wife's birthday, but we did not receive the complimentary "Birthday" dessert that is usually offered at most reputable restaurants. We also found a cork in our wine bottle. We spent nearly $400 at this restaurant, but I felt like we were overcharged and it really detracted from our overall experience. I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.
We wen 't there by chance, it become one of our favorite place. They have a small menu , but everything we tried we loved. Their tartares are fantasctic. Their cuisine is classical with a new twist. Very first quality of ingredient, a lovely experience every...time... Beware their closing hour thought.

The accompanying bed of vegetables and puree were both delectable. The only disappointment was the buffalo mozzarella salad, which had a sparse amount of tomatoes and cheese, making it more of a side dish than an appetizer. However, the cheesecake for dessert was absolutely delicious. Overall, I would definitely return to this restaurant.
In summer, beautiful outdoor porch and terrace overlooking the Richelieu River and Mont St. Hilaire. Gorgeous setting.
