I stopped by for lunch today and had a couple of homemade vegan burgers, which were delicious. The vegan food is excellent and reasonably priced. I recommend arriving early to beat the lunch rush and enjoy a wider selection of options.
We were thrilled to discover this restaurant, especially since finding well-balanced vegan options in Belize can be quite challenging. The menu offered a great variety of dishes, featuring an abundance of vegetables and protein, all of which were delicious and vegan. A plate with four different options cost just $8BZ, making it an excellent deal for a satisfying meal. I wish there was a spot like this in every town in Belize! Although the location initially seemed a bit out of the way, the walk from the central bus station leads you through a lovely park and into a pleasant neighborhood that includes a grocery store, tortilleria, library, and a nice park for enjoying your takeout. It’s definitely worth a visit! As for the vegetarian options, we enjoyed breaded eggplant in tomato sauce, stir-fried vegetables, bean empanadas, chow mein, and many other tasty dishes! The service was excellent, the food was tasty, and the prices were just right. It was my first time dining at a place with such a wide range of vegan options, which I really appreciated. I enjoyed the casual open shack vibe and the location was very convenient. Overall, I had a fantastic experience: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.
