First off let me say we stayed over night in an RV so we were not pressed for time. That was good thing because it took forever just to get a Hi can I take your order . I do like my A&W burgers. We stopped for lunch last week while out for a drive and on our way home. The chicken burger was good also. Service was average but no complaints. Kept clean.
First off it was hard to communicate with staff working at this location. The food was horrible and the seating area was filthy. My advice avoid this A&W
OK, I'm not a fan of fast foods, especially burgers. But my husband and I were travelling home from London and were starving so we stopped in here for a late lunch! Wow! I really enjoyed my teen burger and frosty diet rootbeer, not to mention one of the onion rings I took from my husband!I appreciated the reassurance by the signs posted that the food is from animals where steroids and antibiotics are not used. I liked the funky decor and there was a ton of seating; we grabbed a little booth.This was on a Sunday afternoon and the place was not busy at all. We were served quickly. The location is conveniently right off highway 401 eastbound. From my experience here, I wouldn't hesitate to try an A & W teen burger again if out and about because it tasted as good as the homemade ones we make at home! I stopped here on a few occasions but didn't want to review it until I had more than one stop. I see a couple of negative reviews here. All my visits have been uneventful. The issue may come down to time of day and staff. All my stops have been in the evening. Food was fine. Washrooms clean. Ample parking. Gad and Tim Hortons on site. I gotta give it a 4 star. Hope the other issues have been resolved.
Sloppy food is being prepared by their staff and served falling apart and soggy. A person from my party threw out their entire burger after feeling it had been tampered with. I routinely eat A&W and this location is in my hometown, but I will never eat there again. Kitchen staff are rude, the cashiers were very friendly. It's a shame this location puts a damper on the A&W brand, I'm used to crisp toppings and a solid burger. I do not trust the food being prepared by this location.
