Old Stone Steakhouse - Belmont

Food and service were wonderful! it was a bit loud; we wondered if the dimming there would lower the volume. it seems like it was a little more beautiful atmosphere in the past.

The keilsalat was wonderful with the silvered carrots and cranberries. the new yorker strip was tender, tasteful and cooked exactly on order. I'm going back to the finals.

We have dined at OSS many times for date night. This is the first time we have ever been told that our table was only available to us until 8 (seated with another couple at 6:30 to catch up and have a nice dinner). I have eaten in thousands of places and never once have been told that. I get it — you want to make money. But our bill is always around $125 for 2 and we don’t want to feel rushed. To us, it was off putting and rude. We love Old Stone but aren’t sure what to think about that …

We had the prime rib, pasta, salmon, and chicken. All four meals were excellent. The service was wonderful as always. One of our favorite spots. Great value for the abundance of food served. We always take a doggie bag home.

We had a good experience but it was very busy and we had to wait awhile for extra items like condiments which were needed sooner.
