Yama Sushi - Belmont

The atmosphere was amazing! I would recommend going for a nice evening. The truffle gnocchi were absolutely delicious, a fantastic suggestion.

The owners and cashier were rude, and the kitchen was really slow. I haven't ordered from here because the food tends to get cold by the time it reaches me.

The hamachi kama at this restaurant was disappointing. Despite being advertised as grilled, it was actually fried in butter, resulting in a very oily dish. The menu was misleading, and when I called to clarify the cooking method, the person I spoke to lied and was rude. The karaage chicken batter was not typical and the tempura shrimp in the roll was small and lacked flavor. Overall, there are much better dining options in the area and I would not return to this restaurant.

Excellent food, prepared fast and friendly service. All the plates and rolls are fairly priced, and well portioned so you won't leave hungry! Large variety of rolls, bento boxes, and great dinner platers. This is my new favorite quick dinner or takeout sushi restaurant.

This has been our favorite local spot for as long as we've lived in Belmont. Food is consistent, good service, and a varied menu. We're grateful to have this spot so close to home.
