The omelet just had too much stuff on it and in it. Salsa, sour cream, guacamole, tuns of black beans and cheese. Could not enjoy the eggs. The bacon was mostly fat. But the staff were really nice and helpful. View all feedback.
October 2022, I am a Customer at this 'Belmont ' location for over 6 years ! Fans of the Blueberry Coffeecake, a cousin is visiting for a limited time only. . . . drum roll, Pumpkin Walnut Coffeecake I give it 5 Stars. (Try your favorite menuitems, too ! Good breakfast chain, nothing extravagant but nice service and a good atmosphere. Only complaint would be that the potatoes in the El Ranchero were a little undercooked.
Extremely disappointing food. The burger was burnt and the French toast was dry and flavorless.
I had a small revelation this morning. With rare exceptions, I always feel a little disappointed with breakfast restaurants. Today, I realized it is because I always compare them to Hobee's and they just come up short. 30+ years ago when I lived in theBay Area, we would go to Hobee's on a regular basis. My wife and I have always missed it since moving away. Today, we wereable to return and have a great breakfast. Oh, the coffee cake, the cinnamon orange tea, the DeAnza Bowl and High Hat Ommie....Nothing like it in the world and thus my eternal disappointment. Obviously we will have to make the drive again.... And againor live life forever sad.
I've been here several times and although it's out of the way, we still come back. The service is good and they have outdoor seating now. It's relaxing and the food is good. The blueberry coffeecake is a reliable item, but everything else is good too.Good for families and kids.
