40 Sports Grill - Belmont

I've dined at this restaurant before and just had lunch there again, but this time I opted for dinner. I ordered the prime rib, which arrived cold, and the baked potato was also hard and cold. The vegetables were corn, but when I mentioned this, the waitress offered to replace it with something else, so I chose a salad. However, she seemed to accuse me of wanting to substitute the corn. When I go back, I’ll stick to lunch. My friend ordered the shrimp basket, expecting butterfly shrimp, but they were tiny and not what she anticipated. Another patron even sent her order back. The manager offered her a different choice to make up for it. The staff is friendly, but it seems like the cook might have just been having a bad day.
