River Rock - Bellville

Biggest scam artist in the county is the owner of river rock. He will add many drinks to your tab without your knowledge. Avoid this place at all costs River Rock?? More like river scam. Worst bar in the state in my opinion

My wife and I stopped in here while passing through. This place is on the outside simply a small town watering hole. However, we were greeted the moment we walked in, seated quickly, addressed by the waitress quickly, I ordered a steak and it was very good, cold beer, etc. the musical act was pretty atrocious and really loud but dining inside wasn’t an option because it was too crowded.

Stopped on a Sunday afternoon motorcycle ride. Awesome patio, food and service!

I am a DSP, I have an individual with a service dog. We drove the 40 minutes to this venue, Because they love live music. We did not know how to get into the outdoor area so we walked through the front door. Where the bartenders said we could not be there because of the dog. I said oh we’re just trying to go to the outside part. She then proceeded to say no dogs were allowed inside or outside. I said it’s a service dog. She said it did not matter. I said seriously not even a service dog? If you patrons of the restaurant proceeded to say that’s illegal out loud. The bartender then proceeded to question if it was actually a service dog, he was wearing his proper harness and we also were carrying a bag that stated service dog. After a few minutes of people saying that’s illegal the lady said go ahead. My individual did not realize what was going on and just enjoyed the music. But this place is obviously not service dog friendly, And we will not be coming back.

Cool spot. Loved the live music. My real only complaint was that they said the kitchen was needing help and I gave my number while I do this for a living. And I got no call. The food should never come out whenever it chooses to come out. And however the cook sends it out. Should be on Time in order and consistent.
