Very well located in the middle of the large square with many tables, suns or shadows, all in it. I had the salad...More

(Traducido por Google) Fui a almorzar. La comida era terrible, no cocinaron el panini ni agregaron nada más, solo carne y pan. Embarazoso (Original) Went over for lunch. The food was terrible they didn't cook the panini or add anything else it was just meat and bread. Embarrassing

From the piazza del sole through the via codeborgo, a name derived from 'capo al borgo' (at the top of the village), we drove the caffe bar codeborgo with many seats in the free on the beautiful piazza collegiata. only because of the situation we decided to sit here, first for drinks, then for dinner. we chose a table under the arkade, from where we could look over the square with its palazzi the patrician Bellinzona families and the renaissance front of the Collegiata Church. my wife had an espresso that was good while I went for a hugo, the drink from South Tyrol that has become so fashionable lately. Unfortunately, it was not so good here as the essential mint leaves were missing, then it was too sweet because there was too much dull blossom syrup and not enough prosecco. because of a change of waiter we had to pay for the drinks immediately. the new waiter came to our table shortly after taking orders while he grabbed my hugo that I was not finished. my wife went for spaghetti bolognese while I chose one of my favourite dishes: spaghetti all 'arrabiata, the 'angry spaghetti ', a speciality from the region lazio. the pasta came in a heated teller and the portions were a bit small, really more meant than starter, in contrast to the pizzas we saw served other guests. both dishes were very well done, the spaghetti al dente and my arrabiata one of the hottest I ever tasted, which was good with me, but perhaps not for all who like. with both plates came also small packings made of grated grana Padano cheese, which could only be opened with a sharp knife. my wife asked for a pfeffer mill that didn't work even though she was full. the waiter didn't make it, so he brought us a new one. what was ridiculously small was the serviette. with the dinner my wife had an aqua gasata while I tried a glass red merlot as we hiked this day on the nearby 'via delle vigne' by merlot del ticino weinberge. Generally, I would recommend the caffe bar codeborgo only for a coffee to enjoy the atmosphere on the beautiful piazza collegiata.

We visited bellinzona on a cold, rainy day. at 15 o'clock we were cold and hungry. we came to codeborgo and asked if we could eat. we were told, yes, we ordered both pasta dishes and open, they were pretty good. (added bonus: in contrast to most Italian restaurants in Switzerland they had gluten-free pasta. that is not a hostile device; it is a bar/café. if they are looking for fine food, they look elsewhere. if you are looking for a warm lunch after 22:00, this is a decent place to eat.
