The first night, the food was good. Everything was cooked to order , and the service was great. The second night was a disaster. I ordered chicken fried steak, and it was basically a salt patty. The gravy was as thick as glue. My wife ordered her fries well done, and they came out limp and undercooked. The food was awesome, and the service was good . 10 out 10 would eat there again. Had steak and eggs .
Breakfast was phenomenal! Corned beef hash was to die for, highly recommend. Service was terrific, she was attentive and food came quick.
The Rusty Wagon is most definitely one of our favourite breakfast restaurants in the area. The food is always cooked to order, good portions (read not too much) and the service is consistently top notch! For those older types (we fall into this category) they even have a “seniors” section for slightly less portions with a price to reflect these portion sizes. We have been meaning to get here for lunch dinner as well, something to look forward too!!
Our 1st time experience was amazing! Even though we did take out the it was a wonderful delicious and reasonably priced meals.
Always a fun place to dine...great service, attentive and friendly, and delicious and plentiful comfort meals. Funky old west settings completes the relaxed down home setting. In the neighborhood, stop in and enjoy the experience. Update: another wonderful time and meal, with attentive and upbeat server.
