I visited this restaurant to celebrate some birthdays with a group of 12, and it was fantastic! They had a private room for us, and the kitchen continuously served fresh food throughout our time there. As a seafood lover, I was thrilled with their offerings, and they also had some of my favorites like teriyaki chicken and pepper chicken. I definitely plan to return. Give it a try; I don't think you'll be disappointed... View all feedback.
What Damion Douglas doesn't like about China Palace:
We use to go here and it was so good but last night was the worst. Rice was hard and everything was sweet and we ordered 4 star hot. The food was bland no salt no hot heat it tasted like sugar. We spent over 50 dollars. Never again. We had Mongolian beef curry chicken and chicken chowmein. It was terrible. View all feedback.
The food was disgusting, the absolute worst food I've ever had in my life. My general tso's chicken was just a burnt sweet and sour chicken, tasted nasty. Rangoon was empty and over cooked. Food was dry, dont' eat at this place. And it was expensive.
If you like honey glazed chicken, this is the best place in Bellingham to get it. The food is hot and fast. I don't think I would call it authentic Chinese food, but it is very good Americanised Chinese food. My wife and I eat here frequently. She loved the egg drop and hot and sour soup. The lunch and dinner combos are the best unless you like lots of leftovers.
Spent $80 for two people and had to throw everything out barely eaten. Honey glazed chicken, veggies in garlic sauce, pork fried rice, all had no flavor. The egg rolls were terrible! Been in Bellingham for about 6 years now and that is the worst tasting food I’ve had here. It’s a wonder this place got more than one star. Never ordering from there again!
The inside is a typical chinese food restaurant with typical decor. The server was nice and friendly. We ordered two dinner combos with egg roll. The egg rolls were massive and sat in a puddle of oil as they were served. The dinner came and I did not touch the chow mein (more like soggy, colourless vegetables sitting on pretzels). The other stuff was mediocre in flavour. I thought I'd be polite to the server and ask for a to-go container. As I packed up the meal, I had no idea what I was going to do with it. I drove to Walmart and tossed it into a trash can. The smell left lingering in my vehicle is not that of chicken or vegetables but rather an unfamiliar/unpleasant scent. Needless to say, we won't be going back here again. I will be sure to share my recommendations though. I will be recommending people to go elsewhere! If there is another restaurant reading this, they really should go to this place and offer a job to the friendly young chap with the slick moustache! That's the nicest thing I could say about my experience.
