French Quarter Creole Grill

I placed an online order. Three chicken dishes. Cashier had a bad attitude. This is unacceptable for $8 a bowl. I wish I checked my order.

Waba Grill was fantastic! My favorite dish is the sweet and spicy rice with the veggie bowl. The combination of the Waba sauce and chili sauce, paired with a side of dumplings, is simply amazing. Make sure to order ahead to skip the wait. They are a bit understaffed, so please be patient with the staff.

I ordered through DoorDash from the Bellflower location, as my usual spot in Norwalk, CA, was closed. Unfortunately, the food arrived in terrible condition—the avocado was moldy, and the meal had a foul odor and appeared outdated. I strongly advise against visiting this location if you want to avoid food poisoning.

I was really hungry while taking care of some business, and I happened to notice that Waba Grill was nearby. I hadn't been there in quite some time, and I could see that some things had changed, mostly for the better. The young lady who took my order, Jackie, was very helpful and friendly. I decided to try the salmon salad with extra avocado. While it was decent, the salmon was cooked a bit too much for my liking, and I didn't receive enough salad dressing—just two half-cups, which wasn't very satisfying.

I typically love this place but, I came here a while ago and asked for my usual order which I gladly received. My food was pretty cold and wasn 't fresh at all. I believe that the food is made at least a day before it is reheated and sold. The employees weren 't friendly at all, couldn 't even keep eye contact, and kept shouting to others in the back of the restaurant about passing out drunk last night. Definitely wont come back here any time soon. Very irresponsible, loud, boisterous, horrible customer service. I couldn 't even eat in piece. I went to break my chopsticks and they didn 't split down the middle, they split at an angle and chips of wood flew. This happens all of the time (cheap chopsticks) but I just wanted to caution you.
