Tokyo Stop Teriyaki - Bellevue

Based on reviews I finally tried this place. Ever been to a typical mini-mall teriyaki place? If so you?ve been here. Very friendly staff, quick service, the place is not dirty but not quite clean either and with good tasting food but with very lowgrade ingredients. The chicken is that gristly chicken most teriyaki places serve, the sauces, salad and salad dressing are thesame as every basic teriyaki place. If you like that kind of place this is a good one, if you don?t, you?ll dislike the food asmuch as you did at other similar places. Clearly I don?t like it but to each their own.

Excellent teriyaki place, the best on the Eastside, bar none. Beef teriyaki is really great tasting, wouldn't go anywhere else but here. Always friendly customer service and quick with orders. I phone my order ahead and they always have it ready to go. I love how they have everything separate in the container for the to-go orders instead of just mashing it all together in one spot, that's exactly how it should be done. I can understand why this is a popular place, it's a well-run business, they give generous portions at a fair price. It's located in Lake Hills shopping center right next to QFC.

The staff was super friendly when we ordered and the Chicken Teriyaki was so delicious! Very juicy and tasteful, also has the Chicken katsu and gyoza that I would order again!

I've never been so disdained by a restaurant in my life. I came with my 10-year-old son. We ordered two Teriyaki meals and a soda. For some reason, my card was not connected to her machine. The older man behind the counter said it didn't go through? I asked him to run the map again, as there must be any mistake. He looked at me and my son and raised his voice and said: You don't have money, it doesn't work?. He never ran the card again and pointed to the exit. I felt humble, especially as a single black mother with my child. No one should be treated like that. Our day went so well, we just came from the youth football practice in Robinswood. I was totally shocked to be treated so terrible. Especially in the neighborhood where I grew up and have active companies in me. I couldn't help but hide the tears from my son when we came back to the car. I should have told them how wrong they were at the time, but I just walked out with my son. I called my card and everything was fine. We then went straight to Teriyaki and More in Eastgate and my card just worked well. You're always great for us.

It was a good experience. The staff were so friendly and the food tastes great. I also thought the employees were all Japanese because the name of the restaurant was Tokyo Stop Teriyaki, but they were all Korean lol
