Sushi Kudsai - Bellevue

Prices are okay, great place for a quick work lunch. Ramen and Sushi are both good.

TL:DR Convenience over quality. This place runs into a pretty low ceiling where the goods sold meet expectations but don't wow. Considering the locality it is surprising how disappointing this is. May end up being good if you're in a rush but not worth long term mercury exposure.

Good food. The layout makes getting in and out a bit chaotic.

I eat here 2-4 times a week. I highly recommend getting your sushi here. Normally cheap and sushi aren't word you want to hear together, but after WEEKS of eating here I'm sold and this will be my regular lunch spot.

Tried the fire engine roll. The spicy tuna had a nice kick. I?m only giving a 3 star because the shrimp tempura was cold inside and the tempura no longer had a crunchy texture. It?s possible they prepare the tempura in advance for the lunch hour but I generally expect tempura to be warm initially. So for $13 a roll it?s decent sushi but in this instance nothing amazing. The customer service was pleasant though.
