Been going here for years now. The food beats other similar restaurants in the area and the value is the same. Great salad bar (especially their mushroom risotto and chicken stroganoff) . What Joel Blattner doesn't like about Novilhos Brazilian Steakhouse:
Reservations for 6:30. There was hardly any meat coming around. We had to wait for at least 10-15 minutes at times waiting for any meat to be offered. Eventually they were finishing up for the night and we were still waiting. By 8:00 pm we hadn't had that much and they were pretty much done for the night. Pretty rough experience. I've been to some really nice steak houses and I would say the food was 5 star but the service and atmosphere were less than 5 star. Not worth the money if you're looking for an overall 5 star experience.
It was an truly traditional Brazilian barbecue experience, different cuts of meat served at the table perfectly cooked in charcoal which makes the taste amazing. Also the staff and service was very friendly and spot on. I really recommend this place for everyone.
Outstanding food! The variety of the salad bar is huge, with everything fresh and they have cold and hot options. Chicken stragonoff, black beans and also the mushroom risotto are my favorites. The meat is super tasty and they even ask how you like it. Staff is very kind and they are great with suggestions, since the drinking options are also very vast. Overall Novilhos is my favorite, comparing to others.
All the cuts of meat were great! The side bar items were also very good. The cheese bread was my favorite thing though
Generous portion and significantly better service compared to the other Brazilian steakhouse in Bellevue area. Filet mignon is super tender and definitely worth it!
