We celebrated a 49th birthday party and had a fantastic experience. The fish dish was excellent, and the martinis were perfectly made. Overall, it was a wonderful evening, and we're looking forward to returning. We hope to enhance our culinary experience with the service from our server next time! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about El Gaucho Bellevue:
I specifically made reservations for Sunday so that my son and nephew could enjoy the Prime Rib dinner special that is only done on Sunday. When we were seated and asked to order, we were told there were only two end cuts left (at 7 pm). VERY Disappointing and the dinner ended up costing significantly more than I had anticipated. Crab melt was extra special, Cubans were generous and ingredients superb but croissants are not the best bread for the sandwich, too delicate. Salads and fries great as always and the service was perfect.
El Gaucho has become our special occasion restaurant of choice. The meals are extraordinary, the atmosphere is relatively quite where you can have an across the table discussion without shouting. The service is outstanding starting with the receptionist and continuing through the servers. The presentation of the meal is beautiful you almost don't want to damage this work of culinary work. The staff are attentive without being intrusive. Overall a magnificent meal and evening out. Not inexpensive but well worth it.
Started off fine. Nice waiter, ok table, nice bottle of wine. Got our appetizer/salad. Then it was 40 minutes ! before our steaks came. When they did, the filet was overcooked, the ribeye undercooked. The asparagus was woody and nearly raw. They were apologetic and comped a bunch of it. But it turned a nice evening into an ordeal. Wish I could say it was the only time El Gaucho has disappointed. Not going to let it happen again.

Our dining experience was once again amazing at El Gaucho. They made an effort to move us to the booth we sat in a year ago when we eloped and had dinner there after. They were over the top with their amazing service. We will be returning every year if not more.
