So glad we stopped by…the menu is wide open with plenty of options (including pup cups for our dog)! The cheeseburger was delicious the dipped soft serve cone is an absolute must. Really get nostalgic vibes from places like this…certainly look forward to coming back. View all feedback.
Good. This place has been in Bellevue for over 30 years and I have been through for almost so long. I finally decided to eat for a bite on Tuesday in April. I ordered a hamburger, a Pork Tenderloin sandwich and a small frits basket. The hamburger was very good and reminded me of the really good burgers you were able to come to the fair grounds before they became commercial. Pork Tenderloin was good. They're supposed to be famous for it, but I found it's an average pork talloin sandwich. You will not be disappointed if you order it, but you will not be blown away from it either. Friends were good. You're crinkle cut frits (you can also choose curly frits), which were frozen and out of a bag, but they 're fried fresh for you and taste good. Overall, the food is also good and cheap. I wanted a shake of regular ice (they call it hard pack ice), but they will only make shakes of soft serving. That was disappointing to hear. A traditional milkshake made of standard hard ice cream, mixed with milk, is far superior to a soft serving shake. I chose a small soft vanilla cone. It was good. Service was friendly and attentive. You order at the counter and sit and bring your food to you. Restaurant has come down a little, but is clean. This is part of the charm.
Best ice cream in bellevue. I have never had anything here but ice cream, so I can't say anything about the food. But the ice cream is fantastic! It's fluffy and light. They have all kinds of sundae toppings and dips for cones--this is the only place that I know of in Omaha that will roll a cone in sprinkles like they do at soft-serve ice cream places in New England. Also, their Nerds twister is a favorite of mine.
Probably the best ice cream places I've had in Omaha. The sizes are larger than DQ's, cheaper than DQ's and the toppings are mixed all the way through.
Burgers are great, so I'm going for the burgers. The ice I don't like, but it'll try again....
Always good!. Family owned, friendly the patty-melts on marble rye are fantastic with the chili cheese fries Play-Doh ice cream!
