Waitress was very unfriendly seemed like she was sick of us the moment we stepped into the cafe. She was rude and took a long time to make even a simple coffee.... read more Waitress was very unfriendly seemed like she was sick of us the moment we stepped into the cafe. She was rude and took a long time to make even a simple coffee. Service took at Least 20 minutes to get the some two pieces of sourdough toast that were over cooked and not sourdough. The banana smoothie was tasteless and not good. The coffee was lukewarm and the scones were floury tasting, cream was sweet and melted from a can not whisked. Overall do not recommend and will not be coming here again. Multiple customers left before the waitress approached them as she took too long. Very disappointed.

Despite thi... read more This restaurant blends in seamlessly with the Belgrave atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly, even when I arrived right before closing time. Despite this, they graciously offered to serve me. The menu is simple, but each dish has a special touch. I decided to order a steak sandwich for a quick meal, and it was exceptional. The accompanying seasoned potato wedges were also delicious. I will definitely make this my go-to lunch spot when I'm in the area again.
