My husband and I had lunch and loved it! Burgers were delicious and they had a wonderful soup on the special (beef stroganoff soup) that was fantastic on an extremely cold day. Can't wait to try breakfast. The delightful mother-daughter who prepare the food and serve are so friendly and fun. If you haven't already tried Cousin's, you should do so. Great eating in Belgrade! What Sarah W doesn't like about Duck-in Cafe:
Changed ownership, is now Center Ice so we thought it might have improved. Nope. Very disappointing. Food is cheap thin bacon, fake maple syrup, flavorless pancakes. Definitely won 't be back. Too bad... a quality breakfast place would do well in Belgrade. View all feedback.
Stopped into this little cafe before I flew back to San Francisco. It 's small, quaint and very clean. The portions are GIGANTIC! I had eggs, hashbrowns, toast and two of the fluffiest pancakes I 've ever eaten. The coffee was kind of weak. But, I saw them brew another pot and it looked a lot darker which, in my opinion, is always better. The eggs and 'taters were average but adequate. If I find myself in the Bozeman area again and I 'm hankering for a pancake breakfast, I 'll definitely stop in!
The servers were friendly and attentive. The coffee was pretty good. However, the gravy from the biscuits and gravy is the worst I've ever had. It was gritty and the flour was simply not cooked properly. It tasted watered down and under cooked. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue, but they specifically suggested the biscuits and gravy. The Flying J truckstop (formerly Bair's) is much better. Heck, Perkin's gravy is better. Normally this would bring the review down to only 3 stars, but despite what Yelp says, they DO NOT accept credit cards... yes, in 2016. How can a business survive without accepting credit cards you ask? No idea.
Not impressed. We just had breakfast here for the first time and it's nothing to howl about. First, they only take cash. Secondly, my boyfriend had the biscuits and gravy and said it was terrible. I just had eggs, potatoes and bacon and the potatoes were essentially chopped up steak fries. Friendly staff, but really disappointed about the food. It also cost $24. You can get much better food at a much better price at Main Street Overeasy in Bozeman.
We stopped here as we were on the way to glacier. Super nice staff, although a bit understaffed. It seems that is the norm for this area. The maple sausage patty stands out as a good bet.
What a fantastic find!! Excellent, fresh food fast, super friendly service! The place has a modern, funky vibe that made us feel so welcome. Wish we had places like this in our hometown!
