Beercode - Belgrade

Very nice place to sit with friends and have a beer and some food. The meat was great, prices are just fine especially since it is just on the side of a popular restaurant and cafe street. Waiter was very friendly and spoke english.

Don't be fooled by the name--you won't find Serbian craft beer here, or a large selection in general. In fact, on our first visit a set of taps must've been malfunctioning, as only two draft beers were available. But when all are working you can choose from lager, dark, and Belgian, so at least there's variety. The staff are friendly and helpful, which is great. Plus their homemade (or local...the word is the same in Serbian) sausages are fantastic. The mixed plate is big enough to share and then some. It's a good place to watch a game (huge screen), have a couple beers, and share some food with friends.

Place is OK, but the waitress is a nightmare. She sits with her friends with her back turned towards the guests and can't see or hear you calling her (because of the music). Later on, she was constantly looking at her phone and wasn't at all interested in serving us. She was completely somewhere else, she even haven't noticed when music playing from youtube changed to some talking show!!! We had to tell her to play some music. When she gave us the bill, prices were 25% higher than in the menu. When we complained, she was angry and told us that the menu is old and prices in cash register are new. She said that she can't do anything about it and that we need to watch our manners, she doesn't understand why are we still complaining, when she already explained it to us. Manager was nice and gave us our money back, but the damage was already done: we were angry and it ruined our night. Beer is OK, food is average, but they need to change staff asap! I won't be visiting this place again.
