What VIZANDIOS doesn't like about Gusto Caledon:
Trying hard to produce an Italian Menu and service but everything is nothing like it The server is trying very hard but doesn’t have any help Tables are dirty, Menu is boring and the place looks more tired than a 90 year old man. View all feedback.
This was my birthday dinner, and our first time back in a long time. We had the Garlic bread with cheese, Calamari, Carne Pizza, Pasta special of Penne Sausage in vodka Rose Sauce, New York Striploin with mushroom sauce, cocktails and wine. The appetizers were great, pizza was good the dough was more bread like, The pasta was nice, but not worth the price. The steak was the worst, the mushroom sauce was delicious. I ordered med-rare, got well done, I actually sent it back, the 2nd one was also overcooked, not worth $30. When we arrived at 6, there was one other table of 3, but when we left the were full. Restaurant is nice, they added a fish tank to the middle of the dinning area, but it is not well lit so hard to see the fish.Kid-friendliness: There were lots of options for kids, and my son loved his Shirley Temple even without the cherry.Parking: Lots of parking to the side and back of restaurant

Decided to do take out for a Friday family dinner. Gusto did not disappoint ! I ordered Lasagna , Spaghetti with meatballs, calamari on greens, chicken wings and tiramisu. Some of the best Italian food I have ever had. The dining room is quaint, clean and the atmosphere is lovely. I’ll be booking some family events here too. I highly recommend.
Disappointing and mediocre food.We were really looking forward to this as the manager made us feel confident and excited that everything was going to be perfect, but he decided to quit a few days before my dad's big milestone birthday without any communication to us, and/or the staff. We were left with an understaffed, unorganized mess. They forgot food, and portions for 42 people were sparse to the point where some of the party didn't get some of the course's. Despite the chaos, I would give credit to the servers. They worked their butts off, with a smile on their faces, and did the best they could with little to no direction. Myself and other family members were forced to clear plates and replace our own cuttlery, and so the only star for this review would be to the servers. We chose a restaurant so that we could sit back, relax, and enjoy but unfortunately ended up being way more work and super stressful. Wouldn't recommend for a party over 5 people.
