Favourite dishes: pancake stack, capable chickenburger and club sandwich, very tasty.
S.A.S.H Christmas Dinner. As a local History group, Shankill Area Social History, we feel it our duty to support local businesses. So this year our group decided to eat at The Foundry. This Cafe/Restaurant is a warm friendly inviting place, you can enter through the side door should you not want to enter by the Spectrum's main entrance. Inside is relaxed, with comfortable seating, the staff polite helpful. The food is as good, in fact better, than many of the restaurants within the town centre, at £16 for a three course meal, I had Home Made Vegetable Soup, with wheaten good butter, followed by Northern Irish Beef Rib with Champ Red Wine Gravy, finished off with Baileys Cheesecake Fresh Cream, I dont think you can go wrong. Our group, 20 people, who ate/tried basically everything on the Christmas menu all agreed that the standard of food was very high. I, like them, would recommend this place to anyone. It was a nice surprise to some of our members, I believe it would be to others. Thank Foundry for the lovely day dinner.
