This is by far the tastiest Indian takeaway in the whole of Ireland..Had the chicken achari and lamb naga today.I have lived abroad for many years and this is up there with the best... Once you try ruchi every other curry house you visit you will compare it to this. Thanks once again Chef....you are the indeed the best. Bottom line..if you know your curry..this is the place.... What slimed2021 doesn't like about Ruchi Indian:
Ordered a mixed kebab on chips with salad and house sauce. There was lots of donor meat and about 3 small pieces of low quality, flavourless chicken (pictured in the top right of the disgusting looking photo), so pretty much feel like I was overcharged for a donor kebab. The chips were stale (probably warmed up from yesterday). the salad was non existent (5 crudely chopped pieces of onion). The house sauce just taste... View all feedback.
Ruchi's just so good. I have a lamb balti and a few poppadome and chutney. everything really fresh and delicious. best curry in belfast by far.

The chips were stale (probably warmed up from yesterday). the salad was non existent (5 crudely chopped pieces of onion). The house sauce just tasted like mayonaise. It's pretty difficult to mess up putting meat on chips with salad and sauce, but these guys managed to somehow. Hard to believe they thought this would be acceptable to present as a meal. Definetley not worth £7. Avoid if you are looking for decent food.
I've been coming to Ruchi since my first year at Queens in 2007 and we lived round the corner. 13 years on and I don't think I've ever had even an average meal from the place. It's some of the best food available in Belfast and the consistency and quality of the food is brilliant. Last night I got a Lamb Bhuna with Pilau Rice and a Garlic Naan and it was fantastic. Ruchi has ruined curry for me, because anywhere else I get one now (including the big names in Belfast) the food always pales in comparison to Ruchi.
Better than anything on the Manchester Curry Mile. Real quality and cooked in front of you. I have just stuffed myself as the portions are rather large.
