We decided to have an early Sunday dinner at this restaurant. We arrived just before noon and were given the brunch menu, which surprisingly only had a vegan fry/breakfast option. When we asked, we found out that the main menu would be available soon, so we waited and were able to order the nut roast at 12:30. It was delicious and had a nice nutty flavor. It came with sprouts, Brussels sprouts, a small portion of root vegetable mash, cranberry sauce, and a small Yorkshire pudding. I gave most of my roast potatoes to my partner for health reasons, but some extra healthy vegetables would have been nice. We shared the only vegan dessert option, which was a heavenly almond cake that was delicious. The coffee was also good, and they had plant milk available. The restaurant was a bit loud, possibly due to all the hard surfaces.

For a non veggie restaurant in belfast I had not particularly high expectations when I visited (vegan) with 2 vegetarians my omni hubby but how wrong I was! some nice vegan options including the elusive vegan dessert vegan weine beer marked clearly. would recommend everyone, but especially for those with meat eating partners/friends this is an excellent option that is safe, all satisfied.
There are several options for appetizers, main courses, and desserts. I have visited this restaurant twice in the last three months and I was pleased to see that the menu had changed, offering new selections each time.
This restaurant in Ballyhackamore is fantastic for both meat eaters and vegetarians. They offer a separate menu for vegetarians and vegans, with many options suitable for those with dietary restrictions. They also indicate which wines and beers are vegan-friendly on this menu. The only issue I have encountered is occasionally they run out of certain menu items or are unable to make them. Overall, a solid choice for "meat and kartoffelland" lovers!
