Staff are friendly. We ordered dinner. Waiting was short. My other half had Bangers N Mash. Which she enjoyed. I ordered a double burger looked lovely. Cut into it. Burnt. I do cook. This was nooked then grilled. They did change it. The 2nd one was edible. But..... well...... cooked. If you serve this on a regular basis. I suggest that the burgers are defrosted naturally. Or retrain the (Chef).... tongue in cheek.... View all feedback.
This is a must do stop off for lunch or just a drink. My first visit in about 20 years and it hasn't changed much. The staff are warm and friendly and the food is great. A choice of a full menu or eat from the buffet. On this occasion we ate from the buffet which starts at 12 midday. At £5.95 per person it's hard to beat both in price and quality for city centre luncheon. Stuffed roast beef for me with champ and cabbage, and steak pie for the other half. Tasty and just the ticket for lunchtime dining. Highly recommended
Went there today with my youngest daughter for lunch. The mussels were sublime and my daughter's Southern Fried Chicken was perfect. Highly recommend this for a nice pleasant lunch. Waitress was excellent.
I had a quick trip over to Belfast for a beautiful woodland wedding, but as always I found a bit of time to sneak a few pubs in. When you walk in your eyes will lock onto the beautiful mahogany central bar and the numerous guinness pumps. Even though it was a short visit the staff were super friendly and attentive which is what you love to experience when you’re visiting a new pub and a city for the first time.
A nice bar with good food. They were very busy and we were given lots of notice that our order would be slower as a result. Love the honesty!! Steaks smelt and looked amazing!!
Second time visiting this cosy pub. Tucked away down a small alleyway off the main town Street. Brilliant food any generous portions.
