I recently dined at this restaurant for the second time and it was just as great as the first visit. We ordered two huge pizzas that also served as leftovers for the next day, along with chips and two large drinks, all for £32. The portions were very generous and the atmosphere was lively. What 201sineadb doesn't like about Goodfellas Pizzeria:
Went for a birthday meal with friends and all ended in tears after sending bk carbonara which was tasteless and to be told nothing wrong with it by the waiter who was rude from we sat down, complained to the manager about his attitude and she didn’t wanna know! Been to this restaurant over the yrs and loved it but food and service has went downhill big time! Will never be bk!! View all feedback.
I visited Goodfellas over 15 years ago and was unimpressed. Back then, it was difficult to find a restaurant that served decent food in a safe location, so Goodfellas was a convenient choice as it was in a non-threatening area and the food was acceptable. However, Belfast now boasts many outstanding restaurants and the previous tensions have largely disappeared. There is little motive to visit Goodfellas unless you don't mind noisy children, mediocre food, and a no-alcohol policy. If you're in the mood for a quick pizza, it might be worth a visit. Just be aware that it's not in the city center, so unless you're nearby, there's not much reason to make the trip. On the bright side, the dessert was quite enjoyable.

The restaurant was overly crowded, our table was not ready when we arrived. We had to wait for half an hour to be seated, and then another 45 minutes for our food to arrive. The food was decent, but we do not plan on returning.
We have heard a lot of good things about this restaurant from the younger generation so called at 5 pm on Saturday evening. My wife’s problem was that she likes a glass of wine on a Saturday evening so when she was told that the restaurant was BYO and we hadn’t her score immediately went to zero. However being more objective! The restaurant seemed dark when we first entered but your eyes will quickly adjust. It is clearly very popular and busy so space is at a premium. The young clientele were probably oblivious to the volume of the background music so while I would have liked it turned down I did like the playlist. We made the mistake of having two courses; my chicken wings starter was delicious but almost a meal in its own right. My wife (still huffing about the wine) had stuffed mushrooms which she professed not to like but cleared the plate. My meatballs were great but the portion size too big on top of the starter. My wife didn’t come close to finishing her carbonara. No pretentious about this restaurant. Decent food, hard working staff, generous portions and so good value for money. It will be interesting to see if the wife will want to go back now she is aware of the BYO nightmare.
Great place to eat. Food is really good. Love this place. All good in this place are great, cant fault the place
