Sunny Day Cafe - Bel Air

The food here is fantastic, and the prices are even better. For a restaurant located on Main Street in Bel Air, the prices are unbeatable. I'm planning to return this week!

This is a fantastic spot for breakfast! Although the seating is somewhat limited, the food and service were exceptional. I can't believe this was my first visit. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any photos this time.

As for customer service, we’ve lost our patience with this place. One time, my husband attempted to call in our order but was put on hold. Instead of attending to him, the employee simply set the phone down, leaving my husband listening to the background noise for so long that he eventually took his phone, got into his car, drove to Sunny Day, parked, walked in, and when asked what he wanted, told the employee to hang up the phone since he was still on hold—in person. Sunny Day is about a 15-minute drive from our home, and on multiple occasions, they have been unable to locate our order when my husband arrived. Just this morning, a young man who works there joked with my husband about how there always seems to be an issue with his orders. It’s hard to justify the ongoing problems we encounter at this restaurant. This level of poor customer service is incredibly frustrating.

Food was delicious and service was quick and friendly. Kept coffee cup full!

I went the other day and witness servers touching food (bacon strips) with their unwashed dirty hands and just put it back on the plate, throw some strawberries and blueberries on the plate, dust it with powdered sugar and walk it out to the table. This is all out in the open. So I can only imagine the kitchen. The guy who is “cooking” the food is wearing gloves…but the server garnishing and expo-ing it doesn’t? Ew. Food was trash also. Disappointed and disgusted. Never again.
