So far the best sushi place I tried in Beirut. The taste is amazing .. so fresh. Every penny worth it. If we're in Lebanon, my husband asks to go there for Minum 4 times a week, I swear.
It was a new level of Japanese food. I've never tasted that. I do not find the words to describe what I ate. You may find it overpriced, but you pay for quality and service. Our waitress Rola was super nice, I've never met a waitress as informative and who knows what she's talking about as she does. All we ordered was their choice and we didn't regret it. All ingredients were fresh. The Wasabi was not synthetic we also have to see the machine that makes the Wasabi. The restaurant offered us a free dish: Sushi roll made of baby shrimp packed in a seaweed. They have a lot of variety such as sushi, Udon noodles, grilled dishes and cold dishes. You also have a way to eat what the cook prepares for you, he could prepare something from the menu.
By far the best sushi/sashimi in Lebanon. The tuna, the sea bass and the yellow tail had to die. The crab in the crazy role was super fresh and sweet fragrant. Did I mention that it is one of the few places in Beirut that do not use imitation cancers? Only the disadvantage is communication with the waiters was not the best. Our order was missed/forgot about twice. I should have given them 4 stars, but the food was so good I'm still elated.
The restaurant ambiance is very cozy. They have a variety of authentic Japanese dishes…must try marinated salmon, hamachi Kama toro, uro maki volcano and the wagu. What I enjoyed and is rare in lebanon is that they have Korean kimshi which is great to have with the grilled Australian tenderloin
