Le Relais De L' Entrecôte - Beirut

One of the best, most authentic Steak (entrecote) places in Beirut. The place has been open since 1959 and serves its one-and only Entrecote court (not sure if they have any other, doubt it, and to be honest, there is no need). Although they have a variety of deserts. This place is a must try. PS: If you get your dish, you will not be surprised by the small part you receive, you will get the same part when you are finished!

Le Relais de l’ Entrecôte is simply amazing in all aspects and attributes possible in a restaurant. Your service is extremely fast and efficient and this is the least of its amazing qualities. The steak, whether medium-heavy rare or medium-heavy, is absolutely delicious with its incredibly tasty, mouth-watering secret sauce. It begins with a large salad with salad and dijon dressing. Then cut the baguette bread into pieces. Once you finish the bread, the steak is at your table with golden crispy frits. An amazing meal to fill you and your taste buds desire.

Same concept as the famous entrecôte of Paris France. They only have one item on the menu and ask you about cooking of the meat. First they serve you a salad with mustard sauce and fresh baguette with spicy Dijon mustard. Then comes the main dish (entrecôte fries famous secret sauce) but with 2 consecutive servings. Those are included in the formula.

One of the experience which I don't skip each and every time I am in Paris is Le Relais de l'Entrecote. The experience is a little bit different in Beirut but worth a trial. Food is good and portions are fair. Prices may not be affordable for everybody but the sauce is really tasty. The place is always busy.

In the last 200 times I was there, the experience has not changed a bit. The same waiters, the same quality of food, the same taste, the same service, the same price (until the entire economic collapse). Something expensive for what it is, but still like the place a lot. Would recommend for a first date or for a family night (4 persons or less).
