What Morton Abbott doesn't like about El Jardin:
Catfish did not look fully cooked. Refried beans are extremely greasy. Spanish rice was sticky and had no flavor. Salsa has black pepper? And cominos??? Why can't anyone make a simple but delicious salsa with peppers, tomatoes, cilantro, salt and a bit of garlic powder? That's all it really needs. View all feedback.

Breakfast was good. Gotta huge burrito fixed to my liking.

My partner and I stopped for lunch while passing through the city, and it was excellent! They offered both Tex-Mex and house BBQ, which got us both excited. My partner had a brisket plate that was fantastic. I tried a taco/chalupa/enchilada combo—nothing too surprising, but it was flavorful and well-seasoned. The salsa was also quite good. We received quick and friendly service.
I visited this restaurant for dinner, and the food was hot and delicious! The service was excellent too. I've had varying experiences at different places in the past, but not here at Jardin. I also came for breakfast, and it was incredible—the tacos were enormous, and the service remained outstanding. I will definitely be back!
