We had what may be the best fish and chips in years! Everything was cooked perfectly, well-seasoned, and not greasy at all. 10. November’21 after a long day, decided to eat and went around the corner to be bier fish chips. limited menu in the night (no light). the cod was however perfection (wonderly thin, crisp,) chips delicious and piping hot, mudy heapses (perfect,) bevelling rings crisp and tasty, portion massiw! unless they have really great appetit, a part of the chips is enough for two. £25 (only in cash) absolutely mock up! we'll be back, you should also try these wonderful!
I was initially put off by all the negative reviews on here, but it's a perfectly good chippie nothing fancy, currently a limited cash only menu, but still good. Very, very generous portions of chips, good number of scampi. Give it a try, bet it ticks most of the boxes
We had what may be the best fish and chips in years! Everything was cooked perfectly, well-seasoned, and not greasy at all. A family member who lives in Seaton mentioned that it can get crowded during the summer, which might explain some of the bad reviews. We visited in April, just before the local Easter holidays, and the service was quick, despite us ordering a large amount of food for six people. The only downside is that they don't accept card payments. At nearly £9 for a cod, it's a bit pricier compared to places in Surrey, but it was definitely worth it!
We had a fantastic experience at the fish and chips shop! My family decided to get a takeaway on a busy Saturday night. The long queue was a good sign, and it moved quickly. A staff member was taking orders from those waiting, and by the time we reached the counter, our food was ready. My partner and I both ordered squid and chips, and there were plenty of chips to share with our daughter, who had chicken nuggets. The fish was beautifully cooked in a light batter and was completely boneless. The squid was £7.20 per portion, which is quite a bit more than we pay at home, but we really enjoyed our holiday treat as we sat on the beach near the RNLI shop.
The cod and chips here are absolutely delicious. We travel 20 minutes just to enjoy this meal, as it is by far the best in the area. The staff are also very nice and attentive!
