We were in Klaistow for the first time. Will be back next year. In the restaurant there are hearty dishes suitable for pumpkin time. In the farm shop and on the grounds is a very large and regional offer of pumpkins, other vegetables as well as bread and meat from the wild. View all feedback.

After 25 minutes waiting time to pick up the order, the food was served within the next 5 minutes. That was a surprise! The Kuerbis stew was very rounded and tasty, the Wiener Schnitzel also. The staff was very friendly. Your prices have attracted noticeably. Overall a very sustainable and very impressive experience. We stood at 6.30 p.m. on 26.11.2017, on my birthday, in front of the locked door as our booking was allegedly not in the system! Opening time until 8:00 p.m.! Never again!
In a restaurant the kitchen, the skill of the cook, is of absolute importance. This concerns the taste, the way of preparation, the sequence of serving at the table, etc. The quality of the duck roast, the pergament-like impression of the skin (obviously cooked to speed up the cooking process) no gram of the flavor carrier fat, the meat partly dry and lazy (without a taste of the duck, the sauce resembled a flour dish, the red cabbage boiled too soft and lacking spices such as cloves, the added apple pieces had an inappropriate size.
Had booked restaurant, but were only in the self-service area, as offer more appealing (price performance); Staff generally very friendly, food fresh and tasty but as bulk goods more suitable for department store than gourmets; All in all, however, very appealing and a balanced price-performance ratio. Bad service in advance, we wanted to book a table for a childbirth day. The phone was pauseless, a telephone table reservation was impossible. On request via contact form has not been responded, a callback has run into empty space. Online reservation via OpenTable worked as feared not or was not registered, despite confirmation by e-mail. Arrived on site: no reservation, no decorated table. However, the service on site was dedicated to fast improvisation. The food was then good, for children the farm is all very good and difficult to recommend.
