This restaurant is just as excellent as the top Chinese restaurants in the Lower North Shore and the Eastern Suburbs. The service, food quality, and atmosphere all receive a top rating of 5. The average price per person for a dinner meal ranges from A$40 to A$60.
The restaurant offers fantastic food and service, with passionate owners at the helm. The dining experience is top-notch, with prices ranging from A$60 to A$80 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect 5-star rating.
Food was adequate, however lady serving was very rude. We ordered over the phone, and when we picked up the food and went to pay, she noted that there was a ‘$1-$2’ price increase, which she claimed she told me on phone when ordering, which she certainly did not. Upon checking the receipt after purchasing I noticed that every dish had $3 added to the price. I then went back and complained that the price was a lot more than $1 or $2 and she stated ‘I said $1,$2 or $3 per dish’. This was a flat out lie and I also do not believe it is ethical to be charging customers $10+ more than their current menu price. Whilst it is not a lot of money, the principle of the owner lying to our faces and feeling okay to charge more than the menu, says a lot. I understand price increases are necessary in the current economy, however, if prices have increased, make updating your menus a main priority. Will not return and do not recommend. Had dinner here with a family of six. First time dining here and will never come back. What a wasted choice to celebrate someone’s birthday. The restaurant was less than half full and it still took us almost an hour to get our food. Seems like they only have one cook in the kitchen. Food could do with some more seasoning and servings are small. Customer service is terrible, I don’t think the lady server (could be owner) knows how to greet people or any other simple pleasantries. None of the dishes come with rice so we paid the price of a main just to get rice for everyone. The even charge you for side dishes like chilli or soy sauce without letting you know the price. Seating is cramped. Save your time and money and go next door to the other restaurants instead! Interior needs renovation too, all of us left feeling hungry, tired and disappointed.
