Love love love this bakery. I feel so lucky to have them in my neighborhood. Kouign amann is a must try. Great sourdough bread, baguette, and CROISSANT!!!! There's a reason they are always sold out. Bahn mi is not very authentic since they use mayo, notpate also no pickled carrot and Daikon inside. Although they are french bakery, not vietnamese deli, so I guess that's fine.Also I don't recommend getting flan on Sund... View all feedback.
What Matthew James doesn't like about Baguette Et Chocolat:
Previous owners sold the place and went back to France. Used to be a great spot, now everything is average at best. Doughy croissants, thin baguettes etc. Many of the specialty desserts are gone. Keep this in mind when reading other reviews, as theywill not be applicable to the current establishment. View all feedback.
Great authentic French bakery! The food is always really good and although every time I go, it is a very long line, it is worth waiting!
Almond cream/pear crepe was so ridiculously delicious! Apple tart also great! The pear tart was okay... Chocolate mousse about the same. We look forward to eating the crepes again!! :
I lived in France for 8 years and this is the best French bakery I found outside France. Oddly! I absolutely LIEBE Baguette et Chocolat!
Food is great! Kids meals are generous and food is very authentic. This restaurant is definitely something you would find in Paris. Love it and everytime I visit the restaurant, it reminds of the great memories of France. Definitely a must.
Best Iced Coffee! You'd think I'd give up the search for a big ice cream coffee, but I gave him another try in Baguette Et Chocolat. FINALLY, the perfect ice cream coffee. Perfect. Close the eyes and go into the sky with every bite of all pastries at all. And from that day on, I will never buy a sourdough baguette from any bakery except B et C. Now I have read the comments about Schnauze, rude staff there, but I have not experienced this behavior during my two visits (new to the city). Hmm. I'll come back to you.
