The restaurant only off... read more We celebrated my wife’s birthday with this dinner experience. The view from the terrace over the lake is fabulous and so was the dinner! The restaurant only offers a tasting menu which changes throughout the season. While there are several options to choose from within the menu, my son and I asked to try every dish, which they allowed (we found out at no extra cost, when we paid-very kind! . Every dish was done to perfection and my whole family was stunned by this superbe dining experience, rounded up by the attentive maitre and chef (same person . The prices are slightly higher but extremely fair especially considering the value one get’s. We will definitely come back!

Lovely location: amazing views of lago maggiore if you eat outside, but the indoor dining room is also exquisite. The food is top. Adolfo uses a lot of local products. Fish dishes are from local lake fish. Deserves Michelin stars: it is a much better restaurant than many of the starred restaurants I’ve been to. For some reason, TripAdvisor indicates that it is closed, which is not at all true.

It is on a pedestrian street in Bée (you have to park your car some 200 m away and then walk by medieval streets to get to it). Table service alone is already a small meal of top quality. Foie grass was so delicious I cannot explain. Very atentive and friendly staff. Chi Ghinn is open only spring to autumn; on a sunny day there's no better place to lunch or dinner than its terrace with Lago Maggiore at your feet. Chi Ghinn is also a hotel with a few rooms, simply but very honestly appointed. Then breakfast is to die for. Ask for the fritatta.

Driving up the hill above Verbania/Intra the restaurant is in a little village called Bée at an altitude of appr. 600 meter. The view over the Lago Maggiore is breath taking. We took the menu di degustazione which was an adventurous journey in terms of taste, ingredients, exquisite presentation combined with very friendly and professional service. A restaurant not to be missed whilst visiting Lago Maggiore. We will definitely come back!
